Goychay pomegranate turns back to its fame.

More than 1000 ha gardens have been set up in the region in last years. Joint-stock companies are ready to accept the harvest. A cannery plant is overhauled, and up-to-date equipment is installed to pack juice and produce canned fruit. Contracts have been signed with Italian and other European companies to export harvest. A new processing line mounted by Russian specialists in “Goychay-Milk” plant helped to increase pomegranate juice production and raise its quality.
