The regional branch of  Baku Business Educational Center under the Ministry of Economic Development was opened in Goychay.

A new institution which will render training, educational, informational and representative services to small and medium-size entrepreneurs of region was established on the basis of Goychay computer-educational Center. Representatives of Baku business educational center and District Executive Power concerned themselves with condition created at the branch. It was informed that the branch would orqanize its work in coordination with entrepreneurs of Goychay, Ujar, Zardab and Kurdamir districts. The entrepreneurs will be enlightened here, different events to be held with participation of businessmen, references to be prepared and distributed. It was noted that the regional branches of Education Center are functioning also in Ganja, Mingechevir, Lankaran, Gazax and Sheki. Then there was held a seminar in the presence of local entrepreneurs entitled “Electronic management is a way to informational community” and “Foundation of electronic retail system for the region enterpeneurs”. The entrepreneurs were distributed methodical handouts, their questions were answered.
