A range of events are held in Goychay in the frame of a "Year of children".

On may 22, there was held a music festival “Children are our future” with an initiative of children music school named after A.Mammadov. About 200 children which participated in the festival demonstrated their scills in thetar, kamancha, garmon, nagara, violin, fortepiano and other play instruments. Little musicians performed folc songs, a works of famous composers with a greatscill. A folk songs "Sari gelin", "Lachin", a mugam "Bayati kurd", a dance "Jutchu", a song "Guloyshe nar", aria of Gulchohra from the operetta "Arshin mal alan" by U.Hajibeyov, a song of Aslan from the film "Sahar" give to an audience a mood of holiday.
